micro1 is engaging Senior Accountant Experts to contribute specialized knowledge and experience to a dynamic customer project. In this role you apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work shapes how models learn, reason and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of work

• Review, evaluate and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness based on established accounting standards.
• Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios.
• Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy and actionable insights.
• Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues.
• Review legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness and alignment with regulations.
• Deliver clear, constructive written and verbal feedback, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation or model evaluation.

Preferred qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate-level accounting experience with complex financial scenarios
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance and legal document review
• Demonstrated experience providing actionable feedback in written and verbal formats
• Prior participation in human data projects such as labeling, annotation, RLHF or model evaluation
• Keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a passion for applying accounting knowledge in innovative contexts
