Generalist Writer

Role Title: Generalist Writer\n\nRole Type: Contractor\n\nLocation: Remote (US & Western Europe)\n\nmicro1 is engaging Generalist Writers to contribute to a specialized AI quality and evaluation project. In this role, you'll apply your writing and analytical expertise to assess written content and help improve the accuracy, reliability, and overall performance of next-generation AI systems.\n\nScope of Work\n\nReview and assess written content and AI-generated responses for accuracy, coherence, completeness, and overall quality.\n\nEvaluate adherence to instructions by comparing written outputs against detailed guidelines and defined criteria.\n\nDeliver clear, actionable written feedback with a strong focus on precision, consistency, and objective assessment.\n\nIdentify discrepancies, ambiguities, factual issues, or areas for improvement within written responses.\n\nSystematically document findings using provided evaluation tools, guidelines, and reporting formats.\n\nEngage in a four-week initial sprint, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.\n\nStart immediately and commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the engagement.\n\nQualifications\n\nNative US English speaker with exceptional command of grammar, syntax, tone, and written communication.\n\nDemonstrated expertise in professional writing, editing, proofreading, content review, or other writing-intensive roles.\n\nAcute attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle issues, inconsistencies, and errors in written material.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong focus on clarity and precision.\n\nComfortable following detailed guidelines and applying evaluation criteria consistently across a high volume of work.\n\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to objectively assess information and provide concise, constructive feedback.\n\nImmediate availability and ability to commit at least 20 hours per week while maintaining consistently high-quality outputs.
