STEM Expert, German (Germany) - AI Training

Mercor is looking for experienced scientists and engineers who are native or fluent in German to help train and evaluate AI agents on realistic professional tasks. You will build workspaces and files, write prompts, and create grading rubrics based on real STEM work as it is done in Germany.

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a scientist or engineer in research or industry (master's or PhD a plus)
• Native or fluent in German
• Degree from a top-20 university in Germany
• Comfortable with quantitative analysis, technical documentation and engineering problem solving

Details: Remote, about 21 hours per week, hourly, pilot running Oct 23 to Nov 19.

Contract and payment terms: You will be engaged as an independent contractor. This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule. Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance. Your work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution. Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. H1-B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time.
